Henri Lenaerts Center

The Henri Lenaerts Center collects and transmits the life, thoughts and work of an artist who delved into the human capacity to develop secular spirituality. It provides a necessary space for convergence, where a conciliatory idea of global coexistence can be appropriated.

The Henri Lenaerts Center promotes, through two main projects, activities based on the artist's values and legacy, fostering the spiritual growth of individuals and organizations.

EVERYTHING YOU CAN DO IN THE CAMPING SITE AND SURROUNDINGS

One of the activities you can try on the Alloz reservoir, on whose shores the campsite sits, is sailing. Whether you want to learn or already know, the services of the Navarra Sailing School, which operates on the reservoir, are at your full disposal.

The campsite has its own jetty, so you can stay at a campsite with all the amenities and enjoy sailing all in the same place. The Sierras of Andía and Urbasa (home to the source of the Urederra river) delimit the mountainous north of Middle Navarra and surround the village of Riezu , the source of the Ubagua river, which flows into the Alloz reservoir. An area with a wealth of natural beauty.

From Puente La Reina (where the routes join) to Estella, the Way of St James marks its historical and artistic significance with beautiful examples of Gothic and Romanesque architecture, such as the Cloister of the Monastery of Iranzu in Abárzuza.

Estella-Lizarra was founded in 1090 due to the need to attend the growing influx of pilgrims from all over Europe on their way to Santiago. Important examples of Romanesque (San Pedro Cloister in the Church of San Pedro) Gothic (façade of El Santo Sepulcro, Convent of Santo Domingo) and Plateresque architecture enrich a remarkably cultural city.

Middle Navarra is the home of great wine and tasty, varied cuisine, based on local products.
